Ideas, but no schedule
A chat gives you thirty concepts. It doesn't tell you who has to be on set when, in what order to shoot, or how many hours you're paying each model to wait.
Shootsmith turns a theme and your cast into a shoot-ready plan: concepts buyers actually search for, a call time for every model, wardrobe in exact colors, and a props list you can shop from.

A chat gives you thirty concepts. It doesn't tell you who has to be on set when, in what order to shoot, or how many hours you're paying each model to wait.
“Something neutral” isn't a plan. Two models in the same grey, or green against your green wall, shows up in the edit — not on set, when you could still fix it.
The list is scattered across twenty concept descriptions. You find out the calculator is missing at ten in the morning, with two models on the clock.
Pick a theme — or let Shootsmith suggest what sells in the next three months — then your models, location, hours and budget.
Concepts with shot lists and keywords, ordered so models change while others shoot. A call time for every person, wardrobe per look, props grouped by buy, bring or borrow.
Focus view on your phone, tick shots off as you go, send every model their call time with a calendar link, print a PDF for the crew.
Built around what buyers look for — real people, real situations, real diversity. Hero shots are flagged, keywords come with every concept, and spare concepts are ready if you finish early.
Each person arrives when their first shot starts and leaves after their last. You pay for shooting, not waiting.
Wardrobe changes are scheduled during shots the model isn't in.
A visual lineup of every look, checked against your wall, your sofa and each other.
Pulled from every concept, de-duplicated and grouped: buy, at home, borrow, print.
Theme, call time, role and what to bring — with a one-tap calendar link.
Titles, descriptions and keywords per concept, exported as CSV for your upload tool.
Import your agency sales reports and Shootsmith plans more of what earns — and less of what doesn't. Plus model and property release tracking, and set profitability.
Quick AI sketches of each frame so models and assistants see the shot before you call it — no scraped agency images.
You can get concepts from any chatbot. Turning them into a schedule, a wardrobe and a shopping list is the part that takes your evening.

“I built it because planning took longer than shooting. Now it's the first thing I open before every set.”— The stock photographer behind Shootsmith
Shootsmith started as a private planner for one studio shooting lifestyle stock with models every week. Every feature exists because a real shoot needed it — the wardrobe checks because of a green-on-green day, the change schedule because models were waiting around.

No. You fill in a short form — theme, models, hours, location — and Shootsmith does the rest. You can edit any part of the plan by hand afterwards.
Plans aren't tied to one agency. The concepts follow what buyers look for across the big microstock and macrostock libraries, and the keyword export is a plain CSV that works with any upload workflow.
Only first names, age range and role are used for planning. Phone numbers, social handles and notes stay in your account and are never sent to an AI model.
Possibly — shoots with talent, wardrobe and props have the same problems. Choose “UGC / brand content” in the form so we know how many of you there are.
